"NEW": December 2020

This song is about the side-effects of progress. As humanity advances, we create masterful ways to make our lives better, but with every leap we make towards the future we tend to take a step away from the balance of nature. The things that shelter us from the storm isolate us from some important truths. Things that seem to bring us closer to utopia estrange us from valuable traditions. The message if this song isn't that progress is inherently bad, of course...it's simply a reflection on its costs. As with anything, advancement can be a wonderful thing as long as it doesn't blind us.
To put it shortly, new isn't always better.

Creamer finds the sweet spot somewhere between late 1960s folk and late 1990s Lilith Fair, with confessional lyrics and stripped-back arrangements ”
